BIOGRAPHY

Hello, I am Valerio Lo Santo and I'm a Web Developer from Catania.
Already from the times of the high school I worked in a computer shop as technician Hardware / Software.
The passion for computers allowed me to learn the basics of programming in Visual basic 6, opening the doors to the development of the primordial systems that are distributed through the good old Winsock.

In 2001 I was doing my first website in Html and Asp is full of Gifs and flashing leds :D so my first contact with a server via FTP. From here on, an escalation of curiosities has allowed me to learn about Linux Systems deepening programming languages such as PHP, and acquiring notions systems, networking, web security , and communication protocols.

Over the years I have specialized in various fields of computer, thanks to the collaboration as Freelance with various it companies in Caltanissetta and the province of Catania.

I am in charge of Analysis and Design of Systems and Computer Networks, through programming languages and Frameworks are at the cutting edge.

In 2012, a combination of events brought me to my first job interview with a Startup rising : Flazio.

Still waiting for the first loan and great expectations went into the world of the SiteBuilder, assisting and contributing to the growth of a large Sicilian Company.

Hard the life of the university in Catania, the nightlife was always around the corner to distract you! Between the subjects of mathematics and physical, I found interesting subjects that have enriched my experience. For today there is no single-subject degree :(, but work commitments have always got the better of them.

GRADUATE

CALTANISSETTA HIGH SCHOOL | Aug 2011- Feb 2014

Five fantastic years in the Liceo Scientifico Alessandro Volta, Caltanissetta, address, PNI (Piano Nazionale Informatico) which has taught me almost nothing of mathematics and computer science, but the great notions of Latin, Philosophy and English. Not to mention absolutely, football, basketball, and billiards :D

Beginning almost by chance, the first collaboration with the Web Agency, creating my first website, management desktop, e-commerce. With the passage of time increased the experience and the knowledge of new languages ,frameworks, and CMS, such as NodeJs, Wordpress, Python and the beginning of a passion for Arduino and home automation, creating a first private system, capable of handling various sensors using the protocol MQTT, opening the doors to The IoT (Internet of things)
